VIDEO: DO IT RIGHT

you could lose you best prospect or customer. Video is a must. Levelsix Web PR folks went to a talk in Denver, Colorado the other night given by a Google employed guru. He told us what we suspected, video and photo is the way of the Web's future even more so than now. We want you  to be equipped with the info you need when producing or hiring a company to produce a video for you.  We asked director/producer, Matt Boatright-Simon, what we should all be thinking about:

1. Most videos online should be no more 2 minutes and even that is pushing it. You should be able to convey your message in 30-45.

2. Keep messaging concise. you have about 10 sec to capture your users attention. The smaller the screen, the shorter the time. bite size pieces

3. Make sure that your video is supported. If it takes too long to load, you have lost your chance with your user and they might not revisit your site.

4. Videos should be used to convey: your brand message, a call to action for an immediate campaign

5. Sales pitches are annoying. Respect your audience and give them information that will empower.
