It's a New Year and a New Dollar
What is your marketing and public relations strategy for 2009? Have you and your team come up with a bang up plan? If not, now is definitely the time to reach for the stars, even if you have to take it a bit slow.

1. Create a realistic BUDGET by evaluating your past spending, where things worked and where they did not. Your company should be spending 5%-20% of gross revenue on marketing.
2. Develop your PLAN including key components (see below). In order to be effective, you must create a consistent plan which means you are marketing 12 months a year. Your plan must also be comprehensive- you must include various mediums to present your brand.

4. Any necessary market research
5. Evaluation of past plan- what worked/did not work
6. Advertising: print, radio, sponsorship, TV, Web
7. Event hosting

12. Blogging and other social networking tools
