Introducing: Chronicles of a Food Marketer

and frankly still don't, but I am learning. Funny how I thought I was all tough and had marketing on lock down. I have worked with many a business from insurance to boutiques, even restaurants, but never food product launches and marketing. Sure, some things do translate, but some things do not. I am still finding out.
It has been an amazing journey and three months truly feels like 10 years- not a bad thing. I am working for a food company that makes and distributes over 4000 products, has two brands with about 20 retail items between the them. HELLO, I had no idea. It is a beast of a job that truly takes me to 4pm daily without blinking or one shred of boredom.
Since I am living and breathing these brands, even at 945pm MT time and 1145pm Central, this is now going to be my blog- for better and hopefully not worse.
I am opening up the lines of communication and voyeurism to enter my world of how to build social media buzz while the rules change by the tweet, gain earned media, produce award winning collateral to good old business coaching. I hope you enjoy the ride with me.
